I dare you to make the names of each family member using only one pretzel for each letter. And the pretzels must stay intact, no attaching broken pieces to form a letter. Also - having a beer with your pretzels is encouraged.
1 - Kristy gave me a heads-up about a dog park near her home that has an area for the pint-size pups. 2 - We got three solar lights in the back area and plan to get more. 3 - Some photos (below) from our successful trip to Tacoma, WA (that's me on the Chihuly Bridge of Glass!) 5 - Still working on my pillow... (see below) 6 - Mad Men is fantastic! I was craving another awesome HBO show. 9 - Popular Mechanics was a HUGE hit. Now we're getting Popular Science as well. 10 - I love Crepes!! I made savory cheese and spinach with rum banana crepes for dessert. 11 - We're taking the Coast Starlight Train to Portland. Should be fun, with a scenic route, old parlour cars and wine and cheese tastings.
For whatever misguided reason, I've always subscribed to the idea that the more complicated the recipe, the more ingredients involved, the better the meal. Then I go and try to make lobster bisque, a French truffle souffle, and some seven-layer torte with apricot roses and chocolate leaf detailing. FAIL!
The Betty Crocker Website has so many recipes with standard, easy-to-find supermarket products and reasonable prep times.
